Another day of slacking @ home.. I have totally no motivation to do E-learning nor study for my MST ... It seems i can't wait to fail and retain for the first time in my 2.5 years course of study .. Haiz .. Friday is here .. I shall pull together all my bits and pieces of motivation and start doing some productive work ..
I was seemingly bored, so i took an initiative to do a bit of goggling and discovered some interesting stuff about my name D******.. Firstly, is a masculine name .. therefore .. only boys use it .. And its pronounced as DAH-NA-VUN ... All along .. i assumed it was pronounced as DOR-NA-VUN ... Gosh .. I can't believe it .. I have been mispronouncing my name for 20 years .. . Gosh ... Anyway .. I still prefer DOR-NA-VUN ... Imagine people calling me DAH-NA-VUN .. sounds so .. weird -_- ... My name is of an Irish and Gaelic origin ... For those who dunno what Gaelic is .. It is Celtic language that includes the speech of ancient Ireland and the dialects that have developed from it... Still dun understand right ??? Dun worry.. Neither do I .. Neither do I ... =p .. The meaning of my name is "dark; brown-haired chieftain" ... Hmm .. I ain't dark .. and my hair definitely NOT brown ... Chieftian ?? Haa .. Dun kid me .. D***** is a common male first name, ranking 667 out of 1219 for males of all ages in the 1990 U.S. Census, it is a very popular surname, ranking 897 out of 88799 for people of all ages in the 1990 U.S. Census... Gosh .. quite popular sia .. Luckily in SG itz a pretty rare name .. Else it wun be interesting would it ?? =D
