Been sailing for the past 3 days .. My first overseas trip ... Its to Batam .. No offense to Batam lovers .. But Batam is not a kind of place i would go to .. Never facinated by the sights nor is there any attractions ... Anyway, going overseas with the ship's crew is an interesting experiences .. and tonnes of first time...
My first time going to a Health and Recreation "Spa".. Its a nice shop house with Hot and Cold pool .. And theres massage there too ... I kinda did not want the massage.. so i opted out .. But i still enjoy the rest of the facilities .
My first time going to a club .. No .. Eating Chicken Rice during IMF at MOS is not counted .. The Club is located at the hotel we were staying at .. There were ladies to entertain us .. at a small price of course ..
My first time drinking beer .. Yucks .. Wasn't use to the taste at first .. Been forced to drink quite a few cups .. Totally Flushed thanks to my poor genes .. Kinda vomitted (Oh gross) and felt totally bad as well .. I seriously need to increase my alcoholic tolerance .. Not that i like beer .. But being able to hold a fair bit of alcohol is a good skill to have ..
My first time playing with fireworks .. Not those measly sparklers we have in SG .. the fireworks in Batam is like those u will see during the National Day Parade where the pyrotechnics goes weeee into the sky and explodes into a torrent of magnificent display ... Yes .. It was really magnificent .. just that its on a much much smaller scale ..
Several other highlights of the day include lunching @ A&W...I so want to buy the francise and set up another A&W in SG .. Shopping for cartons of instant noodles.. Not for me, but apparently the indomie is real popular and real cheap like 8 SGD for 40 packets..
To sum things up .. An interesting day .. But real real real tiring .. Lucky i m on off tomorrow .. More updates tomorrow ..
